Coromandel Express Accident in Odisha: 50 passengers died in the Heartbreaking incident of Coromandel Express derailment. The shocking accident detailed eight bogies of Coromandel Express. The express train derailed after collision with a goods train near Bahanga station, as per Hindustan Times reports. NDRF and other rescue force have been deployed to the accident site. Situation are getting in control with the enforcement of 240 personnel. As per the latest reports, almost 300 passengers have been effected by the derailment accident on which more than fifty had lost their life. Others injured people have been taken out for treatment. Derailment accident has impacted very seriously it's was one of the biggest rail accident in the year 2023.
Rescue teams has been deployed and as per the reports, the teams are equipped with stretchers, gas cutters, lifting bags and first aid kits. On the other point, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik will leave tomorrow to get in through the situation in the accident site. Naveen Patnaik said to PTI "I will be there on the spot tomorrow morning to review the situation. Our first concern is to shift the living to the hospital". CM Naveen Patnaik and other leaders have showed their deep condolence on this unpredictable accident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted and expressed condolences on the matter. While Home Minister Amit Shah has also offered condolences to the victims of the Coromandel Express Train Accident of Odisha.
