Coromandel Express re- started services from Shalimar Station at 3:20 PM in West Bengal and will reach Chennai Central tomorrow on 10:30 AM. ANI shared tweet stating "Coromandel Express, one of the trains involved in a triple collision in Odisha's Balasore, reaches Balasore Station". The accident occurred five days ago was quite fearful and destructive, but after proper repairing and surveillance checkmate, Coromandel Express resumed services from today from Shalimar Station. As per the sources, the Coromandel Express started its journey on today from Shalimar station from platform number 2 at 3:25 PM. As per the report by The Hindu, today on Coromandel Express general compartments were generally filled with migrant workers. They were going for work purposes to other states of India. As per interview with The Hindu, Pintu a migrant worker travelling to Vishakhapatnam said "I'm not scared at all, it will be good if there is increased surveillance", Indian Railways should work more on proper surveillance process before commencing train journeys. Several workers are boarded Coromandel Express to report to work. An migrant worker heading to Kerala said, "I'm quite scared about traveling after such fearful accident, but there is no option left, I have to report to work" said in an interview with the The Hindu.
