Chief Justice of India on Banning of The Kerala Story in West Bengal: On Friday, SC questioned the West Bengal Government on why "The Kerala Story" is not screening in the state. The Chief Justice of India targeted Mamata Banerjee and questioned her on the reason behind the banning of the Kerala Story. During the plea hearing challenging the ban, SC asked why the movie cannot be screened peacefully while being screened in other parts of the country. "The ban does not seem to have anything to do with the artistic value of the film and if people do not like they simply will not watch it" Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narshimha stated.
