| Jewellery Looted and killed Shop Owner Son Niladri Singha |
Barrackpore, Kolkata: Heartbreaking incident occurred in the Barrackpore town of Kolkata on Wednesday 24 May 2023. As per the news report, the victim was thirty-two years old and was the owner of a jewelry shop at Anandapuri, Barrackpore. The name of the jwellery shop is Singha Jewelry.
The murder incident took place between the time period of evening, approximately around 6pm. According to the Barrackpore police, the owner of the jewelery was tortured by the four culprit. Firstly, the four looted all the jewelry by breaking into the jewelry shop, then shot the owner with two guns.

Niladri Singha, the owner of the Singha Jewellery shop tried to stop the jewel robbers, but ended up being brutally killed by them by guns. The shop owner was shot twice in the chest and stomach by the shooters, and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. According to the investigation report, the shop owner's father and people accompanying him were injured in the murder incident.
