| 21 Years Old Youth Died in Kolkata Due to Illegal Construction at Kidderpore |
Kidderpore, Kolkata: The name of the victim was Zakir Ali and he was just 21 years old. The accident took place on 29 April 2023, around 8 P.M. it was a spot death. The frightening incident took place in the Watgunge Street of Kidderpore, Kolkata, the police officials shared. Zakir Ali was on a bike with a friend at the time of the accident. Zakir's friend told the police that while we were waiting for the road to clear, a rod fell and went inside Zakir's head.
Zakir's friend told that he tried hard to remove the rod from his head but the accident was very serious. Due to this he could not save Zakir's life and hurriedly went to the police. Wrong construction work was the reason for the painful accident, due to this the young man lost his life, Zakir's friend gave a statement to the authorities
21 years old Zakir's friend was lucky to escape, but he too was hurt, according to reports. Zakir's friend shared with the police that both of us used to come back from Gym that till then construction material was being transported in the house next to Zakir's.
After this accident, there was a protest with the neighbors that the builder should be arrested, the police also arrested him. The second root cause behind this accident is that, the local people told media that the construction workers used to reach the iron rod to the sixth floor with the help of rope. It was a grave negligence due to which B.Com students lost his life. According to reports and sources, the building in front of which this incident took place was being constructed illegally, according to the authorities it was forbidden to build up to six floors.
