Terrorist Attack in Kashmir on 20 April 2023: 5 soldiers were martyred in Kashmir due a to terrorist attack

 Jammu and Kashmir: Today in Poonch, Rajouri area of Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist attack caused the death of five soldiers. The terrorists attacked the military vehicle causing the death of soldiers and one severely injured. As per the Indian Army, the terrorist fired at the vehicle between the time range of 3-5 PM IST on 20 April 2023. 

The attack took place in the Bhimber Gali Area of Kashmir, India. The fire resulted in the army vehicle catching fire and it caused death to five soldiers one was severely injured. 

The Indian Army added the vehicle fire may be caused by the grenade attack. The incident of today is a tragic reminder of the ongoing security challenges the Armed Forces of Jammu Kashmir is facing. The Indian Government and Security departments should take more powerful measures to stop such incidents from appearing in the future.

The unidentified terrorists took the benefits of bad weather and low visibility in the area, as per the Indian Army officials. The five soldiers were the Army personnel of Rashtriya Rifles, they were deployed for counterterrorist operations in the Rajouri areas, as per the Army. The Defense Minister expressed condolence to the martyr's family of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army who died today.
