India Launches Operation Kaveri Amid Sudan Civil War Crisis

New Delhi, India: Amidst the ongoing Civil War in Sudan which has been going through the last seven days with no signs of any ceasefire, India has launched an operation called "Kaveri" to take back Indian personnel from the country. India has initiated a special rescue operation called "Operation Kaveri" to take back Indian citizen who is stuck in the conflict in Sudan.

The current situation in Sudan is deteriorating with every passing day. Personnel from powerful countries like U.S. U.K., and France are returning from Sudan.

Operation Kaveri gets underway to bring back our citizens stranded in Sudan.

About 500 Indians have reached Port Sudan. More on their way.

Indian External Affairs Minister, S. Jayashankar stated, Indian ships and aircraft have been deployed for evacuation to bring stranded Indians back to their homeplace. As per recent reports, around 500 Indians have been at Port Sudan. Diplomates of influential countries like the U.S., the U.K., and France have been evacuated by their governments, back to the country.
