A devastating car accident occurred on Wednesday near Singhpur Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh. The two goods trains collided causing a fire that engulfed both engines. The collision took place just 10 Km before Shahdol on the Bilaspur to Katni railway route, leaving one loco driver dead and his two associates injured.  

According to the sources reports, the accident happened due to the signal overshoot of a coal loaded goods train at Singhpur Station on the Bilaspur Katni section of the South East Central Railways. 

The accident led to the derailment of nine wagons including the engine.  The South East Central Railways issued a bulletin on the accident, detailing the aftermath of the tragic event.  

The accident serves a stark reminder of safety and curiosity measures in the railway industry and the need for constant vigilance to prevent such accidents occuring in the future.
